Paint by Numbers began in the 1950s in the United States, created by the Palmer Show Card Paint Company as a way to boost paint sales. What started as a simple idea quickly became a beloved hobby, and today, vintage Paint by Numbers pieces are making a comeback—with some even featured in gallery exhibitions across the U.S.
My own journey started with a gift: The Frog. I was immediately hooked. As someone who always appreciated art but felt intimidated by a blank canvas, Paint by Numbers gave me the confidence to start painting. Finishing Mr. Frog brought me so much joy that I went searching for more—but struggled to find images I truly wanted to paint.
That search turned into something bigger: this shop. It was born from a desire to share the joy of painting with others who, like me, wanted to express themselves creatively—without needing formal training.
